MIEN3208 Unmanaged 8-port Industrial Ethernet Redundant Switch
Brief introduction
The MIEN3208 is an unmanaged 8-port industrial Ethernet rail switch. It offers two redundant 100Mbit/s fiber ports and six 10/100Base-T/TX TP ports. With the plug-and-play feature, it is started up shortly. KIEN2000 offers 24V redundant power inputs.

100Mbit/s Optical Fiber Redundancy
It is critical for network to re-configure immediately once disconnection occurs in the industrial fields. Accordingly, it comes with DT-Ring, and offers 2 redundant fiber ports to realize the redundant ring network. The system will be able to reconfigure within 300ms after connection fault.
LED Indicator
The LEDs of the front panel indicate the port status correctly including transmission rate, link status and system status.
Layer-2 Switching
Switches work in two ways: Cut-Through and Store-and-Forward. In Cut-Through, a data packet is immediately relayed further after detecting the target address; in Store-and-Forward, a data packet is first read in completely and checked for errors before the switch relays the same. It employs Store-and-Forward that is a switching mode widely used.
Power Alarming
Any power of the switch fails, alarm signal will be sent out by alarm terminal. The terminal is open when there is no alarm and is closed when alarm occurs.
